Reporting to the Logistics Manager ANZ this role sits at the heart of our Supply Chain team, working closely with internal stakeholders and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to coordinate day-to-day logistics operations, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing
As a key link between Royal Canin and our logistics partners, you'll support the effective delivery of customer order fulfilment activities while ensuring service levels, productivity, quality, and costs are managed effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating day-to-day logistics operations across Australia and New Zealand.
Monitoring service delivery performance, productivity, and logistics costs against agreed KPIs and service levels.
Conducting root cause analysis to identify operational issues and assisting with implementing sustainable improvements.
Supporting service agreement reviews and recommending logistics solutions that enhance efficiency and customer experience.
Building strong working relationships with 3PL providers and internal stakeholders across Supply Chain, Customer Service, Quality, Demand Planning, and Sales teams.
Supporting inbound container transport, national distribution activities, and operations across six ANZ distribution centres.
Maintaining logistics processes, standard operating procedures, and quality compliance requirements.
Assisting with inventory-related administration and reporting as required.
Producing reports and insights to support informed business decision-making.
This role will spend a minimum of one day per week onsite with our 3PL partner, with the remainder of the week based in our Auckland office.
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a proactive and analytical logistics professional who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
You will bring:
Diploma or degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
3-5 years' experience in logistics, transport, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
Strong understanding of transport and distribution centre operations and processes.
Experience working with third-party logistics providers and customer-facing stakeholders.
The ability to analyse performance data and conduct root cause analysis.
Experience relating to logistics cost controls and service performance management.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements within logistics environments.
