Job Description:
Airbus Korea | SFI
Airbus Korea have open positions for Synthetic Flight Instructors to be employed directly with Airbus Korea, with flexible commuting options available such as 3/1, 6/2, 9/3, 1 month on / 1 month off.
As part of the Airbus Korea team, you will deliver all type of flight training utilizing the following training devices:
Full Flight Simulators for A330, A350 or A380
Airbus pilot training devices
Classroom training
Objectives are to ensure the airline crews capability to carry out safely and correctly all normal and emergency procedures required by Airworthiness authorities and Airbus so that the crew will achieve the required level of standard proficiency.
Responsibilities will include:
Delivering training while adhering to Airbus standard policy and standardization as required by Airbus Flight Training Operations.
Instructing trainees on the various training devices
Providing an evaluation of the crews progression
Producing a written report and grading of the trainees performance at the end of each session.
Determining the necessity to provide extra training in order to achieve the desired level of proficiency.
Participating in the improvement and development of training documentation.
Required Skills:
If you are interested in pursuing this opportunity with Airbus Korea you must meet all of the following requirements:
Hold valid/current ATPL for applicable aircraft type from recognized ICAO signatory country
Be type rated on applicable aircraft type
5 years Air Carrier experience
Pilot in command of 2,000 hours Jet Transport category aircraft
Including 500 hours of on-type experience or Two years experience as a simulator instructor on Airbus aircraft
