Job Description:
The Infusion Center Pharmacist is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients scheduled in our chemotherapy and ambulatory infusion centers, as well as within our inpatient oncology spaces. This includes order verification and oversight of hazardous and non-hazardous drug compounding, collaboration with the nursing team and providers regarding patient regimens, active involvement with service line committees, and the provision of patient education.Education:
▪ Required: Bachelors in Pharmacy - Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy
▪ Preferred: Doctorate of Pharmacy - Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 residency
Experience:
▪ Required: No Prior Experience Required
▪ Preferred: 2 years healthcare setting or equivalent residency training
Skills:
▪ None specified
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
▪ Required: Licensed by Missouri Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacist, or eligible for licensure by Missouri Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacist, and licensure obtained within 90 days of hire.
▪ **Eligibility for licensure requires submission of application for Pharmacy License at time of hire**
▪ Medication Therapy Services Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
