How A Telecommunications Analyst Will Make An Impact:
- Performs a variety of technical tasks and provides site support.
- Modifies, moves, and installs a range of new equipment.
- Troubleshoots a variety of hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues.
- Performs a variety of integrity testing and interviews customers to gather information about problems.
- Prepares and presents a variety of incident/performance reports to the customer and to the service delivery manager.
- Provides advice and a variety of onsite training for customer support personnel.
- May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.
- May serve as a team or task leader. (Not a people manager)
- Analyzes, maintains, and modifies telecommunications systems to meet operational standards.
- Monitors the operations of telecommunications systems and services of vendors.
- Conducts studies regarding telecommunication systems usage and recommends changes as appropriate.
- Plans and coordinates all moves and installation of telecommunications equipment.
- Tests, adjusts, and troubleshoots complex hardware equipment as necessary.
- Maintains records and prepares complex reports relevant to the operation of the telecommunications systems.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
- Provides end-user training of telecommunications features and functionality.
- CompTIA Security Plus required.
- DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 3+ years of experience
