Manufacturing Engineer, Electronics

 

- Conceptualize, develop, and implement processes and improvements to new and existing products.

- Analyze production workflows and identify areas for improvement to reduce waste, cost, and downtime.

- Develop and document process parameters, SOPs, and quality control standards.

 

- Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve issues related to electromechanical assemblies and validation, such as PCB Assemblies, cable assembly, Antenna assembly and unit testing.

- Facilitate day to day production support of drone production; mentor and guide technicians and engineers to best engineering practices to meet AS9100D ISO9001 defense manufacturing requirements.

- Provide technical support during new product introduction (NPI) and engineering change implementations.

 

- Collaborate with R&D, Product Design, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure manufacturability and scalability.

- Participate in DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) reviews during product development.

- Coordinate with vendors and contract manufacturers to ensure consistent production quality.

 

- Define and create in-process validation and testing processes

- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action plans for electrical assemblies and drone components

- Ensure workplace safety and compliance with applicable standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO, RoHS).
