About the Team  
The Enterprise SEO Team ensures that Lowe’s digital experiences are optimized for discoverability, relevance, and performance across all search channels. The team delivers consistent, data-driven optimization of site content, metadata, and technical elements while conducting ongoing competitive analysis. 

Partnering closely with Business, Product, Content, Site Operations, and Technology teams, SEO ensures that digital assets remain accurate, search-friendly, and aligned with customer intent, ultimately strengthening visibility and organic growth across Lowes.com. 

Job Summary
The Lead Analyst – SEO Performance & Analytics supports the team in improving the technical and data foundations that drive organic growth across Lowe’s websites, apps, digital assets, and product feeds. This role focuses on technical SEO analysis, product data quality, crawlability and indexation optimization, site performance monitoring, and reporting to enhance overall SEO health, visibility, and performance in AI search, LLM discoverability, and agentic commerce environments. 

This role will report to the Senior Manager, SEO Performance & Analytics and will work closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Data, Platform, and SEO partners to support key initiatives across technical SEO and performance analytics. In addition to contributing directly as an individual contributor, this role will also help guide analysts on the team by providing day-to-day support, sharing best practices, and helping prioritize workstreams. 

This role is well suited for someone with strong technical SEO and analytical skills who enjoys solving complex problems, working across teams, and helping scale SEO improvements in a large digital environment.

Roles & Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities

Support the Senior Manager in driving technical SEO and performance-focused initiatives across websites, apps, and product data ecosystems. 
Drive optimization strategies for AI search, LLM discoverability, and emerging agentic commerce experiences. 
Support technical SEO and performance-focused initiatives across websites, apps, and product data ecosystems 
Help monitor and improve product data quality for SEO, including attributes, completeness, consistency, and structured data readiness. 
Partner with Product, Data, and Platform teams to support feed quality, synchronization, and optimization for search, shopping, and emerging AI-driven surfaces. 
Assist in identifying opportunities to improve crawlability, indexation, internal linking, and discoverability of key pages and content. 
Analyze technical SEO signals such as crawl behavior, index coverage, log data, structured data issues, and site architecture patterns to identify risks and opportunities. 
Support site performance monitoring efforts, including Core Web Vitals and related technical health metrics, and help coordinate recommendations with Engineering teams. 
Contribute to improvements in taxonomy, faceting, product data models, and page structures that support scalable SEO and better browse/search experiences. 
Help develop and maintain reporting for technical SEO and performance KPIs such as crawl efficiency, index coverage, CWV health, feed quality, and data quality. 
Support automation and scalable solutions related to metadata, tagging, templates, feeds, or technical QA processes. 
Assist in documenting recommendations, technical requirements, recurring issues, and best practices for cross-functional teams. 
Translate analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for SEO, Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders. 
Provide guidance and support to analysts on the team, including reviewing work, helping solve problems, and promoting consistent ways of working. 
Stay informed on changes in search technologies, bots, AI-driven search experiences, and technical SEO best practices. 

Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field. 
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications in web analytics, technical SEO, web performance, or data/business analytics. 
Exposure to enterprise SEO, analytics, or performance monitoring platforms. 

Years of Experience
10+ years in Online/Retail Merchandising, Vendor Management, Digital Marketing, E-commerce, or related field

Required Skill Set
Strong understanding of technical SEO fundamentals, including crawlability, indexation, canonicalization, site architecture, internal linking, structured data, and faceted navigation. 
Good understanding of site performance concepts, including Core Web Vitals and the impact of technical changes on search visibility and user experience. 
Experience working with SEO tools, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Semrush, analytics platforms such as GA4 or Adobe, Botify, and performance monitoring tools. 
Familiarity with product data, taxonomy, attributes, filters/facets, and feed-related workflows in an e-commerce environment. 
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through large datasets and identify meaningful insights. 
Ability to translate technical findings into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences. 
Experience supporting scalable SEO solutions such as templates, automation, tagging, or feed improvements. 
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively across functions in a matrixed environment. 
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. 

Secondary Skills (desired) 
Experience with SQL or other data querying languages. 
Familiarity with log-file analysis and technical SEO diagnostics. 
Exposure to experimentation or measurement of technical SEO changes. 
Familiarity with AI-driven search experiences, answer engines, or optimization for emerging search surfaces. 
Exposure to feed optimization and bot management concepts is a plus.
