Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid on day shift. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.

What You'll Do

  • Driving the transformation agenda across Manila, Silao, and Ramos GBS Finance, aligning automation, AI, governance, and process improvement initiatives to business priorities.

  • Leading process redesign, workflow digitization, and standard work development to reduce defects, cycle time, rework, and manual effort in finance operations.

  • Developing and sustaining KPI dashboards, performance metrics, and visual management routines to monitor process health, value delivery, and business impact.

  • Partnering with Finance Operations, Global Transformation, Digital/IT, and other stakeholders on solution design, testing, implementation, and stabilization.

  • Supporting the evaluation, prioritization, and deployment of automation and AI-enabled solutions that improve productivity, quality, compliance, and user experience.

  • Ensuring all AI-enabled solutions and tools are designed and deployed in line with GM AI policies and compliance requirements.

  • Facilitating root cause analysis, structured problem solving, and improvement workshops, and ensuring actions are implemented and sustained.

  • Identifying process gaps, control weaknesses, and governance issues, and working with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.

  • Providing regular updates to leadership on initiative status, risks, impact, dependencies, and next steps.

  • Driving a culture of accountability, simplification, standardization, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Technical Experience

  • Strong experience in continuous improvement, process redesign, and operational transformation within finance, shared services, or similar environments.

  • Experience in workflow digitization, automation, and AI-enabled improvement initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of KPI development, dashboarding, performance management, and benefit tracking.

  • Experience translating business requirements into process, system, control, and reporting improvements.

  • Strong understanding of finance operations, governance, risk, internal controls, and service delivery expectations.

  • Experience in solution design, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support.

  • Experience creating process documentation, standard work, SOPs, and operating procedures.

  • Ability to identify root causes and convert findings into practical improvement plans.

  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives across sites and balance strategic planning with execution.

  • Experience working in a matrixed, cross-functional, and global operating environment.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

  • Relevant experience in continuous improvement, transformation, finance operations, shared services, process excellence, or operational leadership roles.

  • Experience leading projects or initiatives involving process redesign, automation, digital transformation, or governance improvement.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed or global organization is preferred.

  • Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, project management, or related methodologies is an advantage.

  • Experience in finance transformation, service delivery improvement, or shared services redesign is preferred.
