Job Title: Modeling and Simulation Scientist
Job Summary
We are looking for a talented and driven Modeling and Simulation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support product development projects and create innovative simulation methods for complex problems
Reports to: Sr Manager, Modeling and Simulation
Key Responsibilities
Perform CFD (Fluid flow, Heat transfer, chemical interactions, multiphase), FEM and Multiphysics simulations as required
Analyze and interpret simulation results to identify improvement opportunities
Validate simulation results with experimental data to refine and continuously improve models
Collaborate with product development teams on design requirements, challenges and implementing simulation outcomes
Create detailed technical reports and presentations to communicate results and outcomes with engineering and management teams
Requisite Criteria & Skills
Master’s or a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical /Chemical Engineering/Aerospace engineering/Materials science engineering
2-3 years of industrial experience preferably in Semiconductor, Aerospace, or Oil & Gas
Strong background in Fluid dynamics, Heat transfer, and coupled chemical interactions
Capable of validating models and assisting product teams in acquiring pertinent experimental data
More than 1 year of experience with CAE tools [using Ansys/Abaqus/Comsol, Aspen or similar programs]
Good skills in CAD [nTopology, SolidWorks, Creo, Spaceclaim, Rhino 3D] and geometry preparation for simulations
Must have a knowledge of automating workflows using Python, Matlab or C++
Any experience with 1D modeling, system modeling and Digital twins would be considered favorable
Knowledge of Computational physics , Machine learning and molecular dynamics will be considered favorably
