Position Summary: CVS Pharmacy Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Sr. Analyst, Application Dev to analyze and assist with the design and development of enterprise software applications and platforms. Duties include: analyze user needs and develop software solutions, components, and frameworks to meet business requirements; conduct requirements analysis to determine feasibility of design and plan the technical aspects of implementation; configure and test software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; write, debug, and review high quality code, and track and resolve production issues; design and develop applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; and collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices. Telecommuting available. Multiple Positions.
Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and six (6) months of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Requires 6 months of experience in each of the following: Java, Python, or R; XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript; Spring Boot microservices; Oracle; JIRA, Rally, or Confluence; Developing backend services, performing code reviews, and collaborating with peers on software development solutions; Designing data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases; Agile productivity tools and leading incremental software releases; and, Working with UI/UX teams to develop wireframes and prototypes based on end user feedback and human centered design.
Pay Range: $109512.00/year to $158620.00/year.
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
