Summary

The Retail Finance Process, Analytics, Reporting, and Technology (PART) team is looking for a passionate and highly motivated analyst. As part of this team, you will support Apple's growth, both top and bottom line, by applying the same level of innovation toward financial matters as we do toward our products and services. We work closely with various business teams to deeply understand current and future commercial initiatives and then partner with data engineering, data science and full stack development teams to ensure our finance teams are fully empowered to operate efficiently and make well informed decisions.

Description

We are looking for an outgoing professional with high analytical capacity, creativity, intellectual curiosity and strong interpersonal skills to support the WW Retail Finance Organization. In this role, you will be responsible for partnering across business teams to execute on internal reporting, applications and data optimization. This work will enable to Retail Organization to leverage opportunities and improve key finance capabilities. The position requires the ability to understand and work with complex data sets, generated from equally complex business processes, in order to drive insights.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years consulting or financial/business/data analyst experience BS/MBA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics or BS/MS in STEM or quantitative field (CS, Applied Statistics, Operations Research)

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent problem-framing, problem solving and project management skills, with the ability to change direction quickly Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to articulate results of analysis in business terms Confirmed ability to conduct complex, data driven analysis Knowledge of SQL and working with large datasets A basic understanding of data design pattern differences between transactional ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and analytical data warehouses (e.g. BigQuery, Snowflake) Experience building interactive data visualizations, strong storytelling skills (e.g. Tableau, Streamlit, Shiny) Ability to self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured environment, comfortable dealing with ambiguity Knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and financial modeling Experience with data analytics tools and languages (e.g. R, Python) Experience building/applying statistical and/or machine learning solutions to solve business problems
