Role Overview

As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting revenue accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to financial reporting and audit activities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in a high-paced environment to support accurate revenue recognition and financial processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in month end and quarter end close activities, including reconciliation, flux analysis and journal entries for revenue, deferred revenue and accounts receivable related accounts
  • Assist in preparation of SEC disclosures such as remaining performance obligations
  • Support financial and Sarbanes-Oxley audits including support documentation, and communication with external auditors
  • Assist in system implementation projects, such as NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) and perform UAT
  • Assist on customer contract review and assessment
  • Ensure revenue recognition is in accordance with company policy and SaaS revenue recognition accounting standards
  • Support and participate in revenue accounting as well as order to cash cycle related projects

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance
  • CPA is required, Big 4/Public Accounting experience
  • Revenue Recognition experience including adoption of ASC 606
  • Experience working with Salesforce and NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Software/SaaS industry experience is preferred
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to respond quickly, energetically, and enthusiastically in a high-paced environment
