Senior IT Application Delivery Leader – Enterprise Analytics & Reporting

Role Type: Senior Individual Contributor / Application & Service Owner

Location: Global / India / Hyderabad

Role Summary

The Senior IT Application / Service Delivery Leader – Enterprise Analytics & Reporting owns the end-to-end service delivery and application lifecycle for enterprise SAP and cloud-based analytics, BI, and reporting platforms. This role serves as the primary interface between business stakeholders and data/analytics teams, ensuring stable, secure, and high-performing analytics services aligned to SLAs and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery & Operations

- Own SLAs, KPIs, and service health for analytics and reporting platforms

- Lead incident, problem, change, and release management

- Drive root cause analysis, service stability, and continuous improvement

- Maintain Analytics & Reporting service catalog

Application Ownership – SAP Analytics

- Application Owner for SAP BW, BW on HANA, BW/4HANA, SAP BODS, SAP SLT

- Own support, drive upgrades, enhancements, modernization, and decommissioning

Advanced Analytics & Cloud Data

- Service leadership for Azure ADLS, Azure ADF, Azure Databricks

- Enable SAP–Azure hybrid analytics and data engineering use cases

Reporting & Visualization

- Own SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Power BI platforms

- Ensure governance, performance optimization, and self-service analytics

Stakeholder, Vendor & Financial Management

- Primary escalation point for business and leadership

- Manage vendors, SLAs, and service reviews

- Drive cost and license optimization (SAP, Azure, BI tools)

Security & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with security, audit, data privacy, and DR standards

- Support audits and risk remediation

Required Experience & Skills

- 10+ years overall IT experience

- 5+ years in senior IT Service Delivery or Analytics Application Ownership roles

- Strong experience in global enterprise environments

Must-Have Technical Skills

- SAP Analytics: BW, BW on HANA, BW/4HANA, BODS, SLT

- Cloud & Advanced Analytics: Azure ADLS, ADF, Databricks

- Reporting: SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI

- ITIL / ITSM: Incident, Problem, Change, Release Management

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent

- Master’s degree preferred

Preferred

- ITIL certification

- PMP / Agile / Scrum certification

- Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or analytics automation
