About the role
This position requires an on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support trauma cases as they arise. While this level of availability is essential for the role, we understand it may not be suitable for every candidate. Candidates who choose not to pursue this position due to the on-call demands will not be negatively evaluated or penalized in future opportunities with our organization.
What You Will Do
As an Associate Sales Representative specializing in medical devices, you will promote and sell joint replacement and trauma solutions to healthcare professionals. You confidently conduct product evaluations in Operating Room and office settings, persuasively demonstrating the value of our products. Systematically tracking your territory progress, you proactively communicate your wins with your Sales Representatives and push yourself to exceed each goal. When onsite with clients, you use your product knowledge and quick thinking to solve product problems and inform doctors, nurses, and other staff as to the proper use and maintenance of our products. Join us and play a vital role in delivering innovative medical solutions that improve patient outcomes.
Assists Sales Representatives in the promotion and sale of medical device products
Educates and informs doctors, nurses, and appropriate hospital staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Stryker products
Directs product evaluations in operating rooms and office settings
May assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings
Keeps Sales Representative, Regional Sales Manager, and Director of Sales informed of territory progress on a regular basis
Solves medical device product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion
Manages and maintains a sample inventory of products
What You Need
Required
Bachelor’s degree
1+ years of professional experience
Must have reliable daily transportation and the ability to travel as needed—by ground or air—to support territory coverage and other company duties
Must have a valid driver’s license
Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Kinesiology, or a health-related discipline
1+ years of outside sales experience
Additional Information:
Must be able to travel (ground and air) to support territory responsibilities as well as company-related duties and obligations
Canada:
$60,000 - $70,000 and may be eligible to earn variable commission + benefits.
Travel Percentage: 30%
