About the role
United Fleet Management (UFM) located in West Valley City, Utah, is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Lot Tech to join our team. You will be the primary point of contact for getting customer vehicles ready for lease, ensuring each step is managed with accuracy and efficiency.
Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm starting @ $17.00/hr and full-time benefits.
Getting Vehicles Ready for Lease
- Perform exterior and interior vehicle cleaning for customers picking up vehicles 24 hours in advance.
- Monitor the schedule for same-day customer additions and prepare vehicles for pickup accordingly.
- Complete paperwork, take photos of the prepared vehicle, and park it in the customer parking area
- Provide tablet and keys to the Delivery Team
- Ensure all vehicles on the lot are locked at the end of each day
Lot Assistance
- Serve as backup for customer-returned vehicles and transport pickup/drop-offs
- Assist the Delivery team with addressing battery issues as needed
- Help keep the lot organized
- Assist with Monthly Physical Inventory
- Assist with vehicle pickup and drop-off to and from service centers.
- Assist with occasional projects
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
- Exceptional manual dexterity and a keen eye for detail; experience with minor buffing is a plus
- Self starter with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Must meet the physical demands of the role, including
- Lifting and carrying 20 to 50lbs
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Confident and capable of driving large pickup trucks safely
