In this role you will assume responsibility for quality across all aspects of patient care. Consult on complex cases, assist with unit administration and initiatives. Counsel staff RN's on a regular basis, conduct clinical education and follow up as necessary. Be the front line of evidence based research. We're seeking a change agent - someone with the drive, tenacity and the leadership necessary to advance our nursing practice.
This is a full time, 10 hour shift, 4 days a week night flex position at NewYork-Presbyterian/The Allen Hospital.
Preferred Criteria
Understanding of nursing operations, finance and quality
Strong leadership demonstrated
Masters degree
Required Criteria
At least two years of acute care RN experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
BCLS certification
