We at Johnson & Johnson are recruiting for a Field Medical Advisor, CNS, located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia!

This role sits within Medical Affairs and focuses on medical science engagement, clinical research activities, and external stakeholder teamwork. The position contributes to the execution of strategy and supports outcomes for patients and the healthcare community!

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervises contributors and be accountable for conducting effective performance management. Provides leadership and direction to medical science managers and senior leaders and serves as the liaison for team collaborations and stakeholder engagements. Delivers on insights and current trends that may impact the scientific community and engages in deep discussions with field experts.
  • Advises operations for clinical research collaborations and educational partnerships and advances the medical science strategy for the organization. Explores and recommends sites for clinical trials in all stages of development.
  • Reviews relevant medical science literature and summarizes research on new developments in products and services. You will be responsible for engaging with scientific advisory boards, community partners, and healthcare providers on healthcare issues and develops solutions around company products and services.
  • Responsible for managing operational aspects of their team (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within expected standards. as per Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience in a scientific or medical discipline (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent) required.
  • Postgraduate specialisation in a CNS‑related therapeutic or scientific area preferred.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Required:

  • Experience leading or supporting scientific / Medical Affairs teams with a background in medical science, clinical research, or a related healthcare area.
  • Ability to engage with internal leaders and external scientific experts and experience supporting clinical research collaborations or educational partnerships.
  • Ability to review and interpret medical and scientific literature and working in regulated environments with a focus on compliance.
  • Located in Ryadh, Saudi Arabia.
  • Must have a valid driving licence.
