Main responsibilities

As a Consultant within Trade processing team you will be responsible for:

• Control of plausibility for transaction interfaces for many of instruments (Equites/Bonds/Fund shares/Futures/Options/Swaps)Posting of all accounting entries.
• Analyse and solving problems with various topic around trading (interests, short positions, setup, pricing etc).
• Regular communication with external custodian banks, brokers, management company, portfolio managers, external providers as well as internal Northern Trust teams.
• Manual input of regular transactions and cash bookings based on custodian or brokers.
• Review the manual bookings of the team
• Perform cash and stock reconciliation related to trading
• Use Excel Macros for booking/control
• Impact calculation to determine materiality of missing or wrong trades
• Managing of various events (new fund, merger, large redemption/subscription, liquidations)
• Audit reporting and client request

Requirements

• Degree (University) in economics/business administration/accounting or Final secondary school examinations
• Proven experience in a similar position and environment and sound experience in trade processing desirable
• Good knowledge of the securities / investment business, including derivative instruments, corporate actions and settlement
• Good knowledge of accounting principles in general and a numerical literate
• GP4 knowledge desirable, good command of Excel
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Very good teamwork and communication skills.
• A very good command of English is essential. Knowledge of German or French an advantage
• Flexibility - Rotating schedule of 07:00 - 16:00 | 10:00 - 19:00
