Job Summary:
An opportunity has arisen to join the Rolls-Royce Tax Team based in Poland as an International Tax Expert. You will be a core member of a global team responsible for providing Tax services and advice to a number of Rolls-Royce companies in multiple tax jurisdictions.
Key accountabilities:
- Support the international tax team with tax analysis and administration of Permanent Establishments (PE)/foreign branches.
- Collect data from various stakeholders within the Rolls-Royce organization.
- Develop and maintain strong internal relationships across the business, such as Rolls-Royce sales representatives and field engineers, providing tax support.
- Keep up to date and identify latest trends in international taxation with a focus on Permanent Establishments.
- Assist with the administration of tax registrations and ongoing compliance to ensure accurate and timely submissions.
- Collaborate closely with the RR governance and legal teams.
- Work closely with several external service providers and members of the Global tax team.
- Support wider projects and ad-hoc initiatives as required by the Head of Tax.
Key Skills and Experiences:
- Bachelor's degree (finance or law)
- Solid knowledge of international tax principles with a focus on Permanent Establishments according to OECD definitions.
- You gained your experience in either the Big 4 and / or inhouse experience in an international tax team for a minimum of 5 years
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and German (at least B2 level)
- Excellent communication skills, ability to interact effectively with people at all levels (field engineers and senior leadership).
- You will need to take ownership of your work and display a ‘can-do’ attitude
- You will need to be well organised and be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Desirable Skills:
- Basic VAT and Transfer Pricing knowledge
- SAP experience is an advantage as is competency with IT software packages.
