Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our EHS programs. This role ensures regulatory compliance, strengthens our safety culture, and supports safe, efficient facility operations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and incident investigations.
Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and standards (OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001).
Lead EHS audits, inspections, and follow-up corrective actions.
Provide guidance and training to employees.
Analyze EHS data and trends; prepare reports for management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operations and projects.
Support facility safety systems, maintenance activities, and emergency response planning.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards (OSHA, ISO 14001).
Proven analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements effectively.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Some travel to Cork and Dublin is expected.
