Sanofi's Pharma and Vaccines clinical organization are running on average 180 studies per year, with a 50% increase in the number of Phase 3 studies between 2023 and 2025, creating the greatest pipeline momentum in Sanofi's history.

The Digital Clinical Data Product Line Owner will play a crucial role in addressing this challenge by leading the implementation of the clinical development transformation programs. This role will set the vision, roadmap, and delivery cadence for Sanofi’s next‑generation of clinical development products, driving notable reductions in trial cycle time and cost.

Clinical Data Acquisition is designed to transform clinical development by:

  • Providing new technologies for data collection and trial execution

  • Redesigning clinical operations processes to optimize performance and cost through novel technology deployment for patient data acquisition

  • Leveraging AI to support real time data analysis

  • Applying advanced analytic concepts and models to support trial outcomes

  • Enables comprehensive tracking of patient health across clinical studies

  • Improving Sanofi’s site, investigator, and internal ecosystem using AI workflows

Main responsibilities:

  • Product Line Management: Develop a high performing team, define and manage the product roadmap, prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, capacity trade‑offs and alignment with the department’s overall digital‑product strategy and technical roadmap.

  • Market Research: Lead continuous innovation discovery and product improvement by conducting ongoing market assessments and competitive analyses to stay ahead of industry trends.

  • Operational and Process Excellence: Drive excellence in operations by applying best practices, streamlining processes, and upholding high standards of quality and efficiency, while staying aligned with key stakeholders.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Digital and Business teams, to ensure alignment and successful product delivery.

  • Business Value Communication: Influence executive Clinical, Operations, Medical, and Digital leadership; secure funding, champion change‑management, and drive global product rollout.

About you 

Soft skills:

  • Results-oriented and manages performance to high standards; clear and simple communication skills; high level of autonomy; ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders and teams.

Languages:

  • English proficient

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in digital product management or product ownership

  • 8+ years of experience within life sciences R&D or health‑technology environments

  • Deep expertise in clinical data, including clinical data management, data standards, and enterprise clinical data systems supporting end‑to‑end trial execution

  • Strong understanding of clinical trial operations and site management, including workflows, data flows, and operational dependencies

  • Proven success leading clinical trial data integration initiatives, consolidating data across EDC, CTMS, ePRO/eCOA, imaging, and external data sources

  • Extensive experience delivering or scaling advanced clinical analytics platforms, enabling data quality oversight, operational insights, and decision‑making

  • Demonstrated ability to work in complex, regulated environments, balancing compliance, scalability, and modern data architecture

  • Strong collaboration skills across clinical operations, data management, biostatistics, engineering, and regulatory stakeholders


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.


Other skills:

  • Understanding data-integration principles, and familiarity with analytics and product development.

The salary range for this position is:

$187,500.00 - $270,833.33
