Lab Support Engineering is at the heart of a worldwide lab operations team providing 24x7 lab access, service and solutions support in multiple locations. Independent and flexible, team members are always ready to adapt to the changing daily priorities. They make an impact in all kinds of ways – from installing and maintaining servers and storage equipment within the fast-paced lab computing environment, through to providing top-level technical expertise and support to engineering departmental users. What you’ll achieve
As a Lab Support Engineer, you will be responsible for building and supporting development and testing environments in our Bangalore labs and remotely around the world for Purpose Built and Software defined Storage, Data Protection, Unstructured Storage and our production hosting environments.

You will:
·Build and support development and testing environments consisting of storage products, servers and switches

·Manage inventory and asset database

Essential Requirements
• Physical installation of hardware

• Technical configurations of systems (storage, operating systems, top of rack switches)

• Virtualization administration (VMware stack)

• Asset Management

Desirable Requirements
• ServiceNow/ Jira

• PowerSwitch (OS10/Sonic) administration

• Windows/Linux system management

• PowerStore / PowerMax / PowerFlex / PowerScale / ECS / Data Domain / Power Protect administration

• Infrastructure Automation
