We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead the organization responsible for ServiceNow engineering, Quality Engineering, and AI Transformation across internal enterprise systems supporting General & Administrative (G&A) functions including HR, Finance, Legal, Procurement, Workplace, Security, and Corporate Operations.

This role requires a proven leader with strong mandatory ServiceNow experience who can scale engineering teams, modernize enterprise workflows, and drive adoption of AI-powered automation to transform how internal functions operate. You will lead teams of engineers and QA professionals while partnering closely with Architects, Product Managers, Business Leaders, Security, and Data teams to deliver intelligent, scalable, secure platforms.

The ideal candidate combines deep enterprise platform expertise, strong people leadership, operational rigor, and a bold vision for applying AI to internal systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Organization Management

  • Lead and grow multidisciplinary teams across:
    • ServiceNow Development
    • Quality Engineering / Test Automation
    • AI Automation Engineering
  • Build a high-performance engineering culture focused on speed, quality, accountability, and innovation.
  • Hire, coach, mentor, and develop managers and ICs.
  • Establish clear operating models, team goals, KPIs, and execution discipline.

 

ServiceNow Platform Leadership (Required Core Expertise)

  • Own engineering delivery and platform strategy for ServiceNow solutions across modules such as:
    • ITSM
    • HRSD
    • IRM / GRC
    • CSM
    • Workplace Services
    • Custom Applications
  • Lead platform architecture, upgrades, integrations, workflow modernization, and governance.
  • Ensure best practices in scripting, APIs, data model design, security, performance, and scalability.
  • Drive consolidation of legacy workflows into modern ServiceNow experiences.
  • Partner with architects to define enterprise-wide workflow strategy centered on ServiceNow.

 

AI Transformation of Internal Enterprise Systems

  • Define and execute AI strategy for internal business platforms and employee workflows.
  • Build AI-enabled capabilities such as:
    • Virtual employee assistants
    • Intelligent case triage and routing
    • GenAI knowledge assistants
    • Automated request fulfillment
    • HR / Finance service copilots
    • Document extraction and summarization
    • Predictive insights and workflow recommendations
    • Self-healing support operations
  • Identify high-ROI automation opportunities across HR, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Corporate Services.
  • Integrate AI capabilities into ServiceNow and adjacent enterprise platforms.
  • Establish responsible AI practices covering governance, privacy, security, and model risk management.
  • Deliver measurable gains in employee productivity, service efficiency, and operational scale.

 

Quality Engineering & Operational Excellence

  • Lead QA strategy across enterprise systems with emphasis on automation-first quality.
  • Implement CI/CD quality gates, regression automation, release readiness, and observability.
  • Improve reliability, change success rate, and production stability.
  • Own incident reviews, root cause remediation, and continuous improvement.

 

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner with Product Managers to prioritize roadmaps aligned to business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects on future-state enterprise architecture.
  • Work closely with HR, Finance, Legal, Procurement, Security, and IT leaders.
  • Communicate strategy, ROI, risks, and progress to executive leadership.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 12+ years of engineering experience in enterprise platforms or software engineering.
  • 6+ years leading engineering managers and high-performing technical teams.
  • 7+ years of hands-on and leadership experience with ServiceNow (Required).
  • Deep expertise in ServiceNow architecture, platform development, integrations, workflows, governance, and releases.
  • Experience leading QA / Quality Engineering organizations.
  • Experience implementing AI / automation solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of internal systems supporting G&A functions.
  • Proven ability to lead large cross-functional programs.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow CSA, CAD, CIS certifications strongly preferred.
  • Experience integrating GenAI / LLM platforms with enterprise systems.
  • Experience with Workday, SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Okta, Jira, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
  • Cloud experience (AWS / Azure / GCP).
  • Experience in large-scale or fast-growth enterprise environments.

The annual base pay for this position is: $216,800.00 - $325,200.00
