Are you ready to take your maintenance career to the next level in a dynamic manufacturing environment? ITW Drawform is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to support our advanced metal stamping operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, working with complex equipment, and keeping production running at peak performance.
As part of our team, you’ll work with experienced professionals to maintain and repair press systems and supporting equipment used to produce safety-critical automotive components, including airbag, fuel, brake, and hydraulic parts. This role offers the opportunity to build your technical skillset, take ownership of critical equipment, and play an essential role in keeping our operations running safely and efficiently.
Position Objective:
Perform electrical/mechanical repairs, installation, or preventive maintenance on presses and other production equipment to achieve maximum efficiency.
Essential Functions:
Perform electrical/mechanical repairs for equipment on presses or as established by schedule, priority, or the Maintenance Supervisor. Trouble-shoot system failures on all assigned equipment. Demonstrate the ability to do repairs on presses and other equipment. Perform electrical and mechanical preventive maintenance. Resolve problems through disassembly and reassembly, paying close attention to detail. Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices. Perform other duties as directed or assigned.
Qualifications:
Mandatory
2 years experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machines
Familiarity with press mechanics and auxiliary equipment
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and lubrications
Ability to lift 55 lbs.
Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
Preferred
Demonstrates ability to work with PLC, Automation equipment
Working knowledge of servo motors and controls
Understand relay logic and electrical schematics
Problem solving skills
Toolroom equipment maintenance and repair
