Engineering Manager - Application Development

The Engineering Manager - Application Development, will lead two cross-functional application development teams building and enhancing mission-critical healthcare solutions:

 

PrivacyPro: Our 6x Best-in-KLAS patient privacy monitoring solution provides privacy monitoring insights and workflows that empower compliance teams to safeguard patient records, auditing up to 100% of system accesses with industry-leading precision to detect risks and uncover hidden privacy violations before they escalate. Tech stack: Java Spring Boot backend, React frontend, MongoDB datastore.

 

ShortageCheck: Our medication shortage monitoring and inventory optimization solution helps hospitals proactively identify potential shortages and make informed decisions about inventory management. Tech stack: Python FastAPI backend, React frontend, Relational datastore.

 

This role involves close collaboration with product and design teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions while adapting to shifting business priorities across both products. You'll need to excel at context switching between teams, delegating effectively, and maintaining clear communication channels to ensure both teams remain productive and aligned. While this role is mostly hands-off from code, your strong technical background will be essential in enabling the teams to make appropriate architectural and engineering trade-off decisions.
