GENERAL DESCRIPTIONThe Windows Server Engineer plays a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the enterprise Windows Server infrastructure. Responsible for engineering robust and scalable platform solutions, the role includes managing Rights Delegation frameworks, ensuring secure and efficient privilege management across systems. The engineer supports Documentation and Education Operations by developing clear technical documentation and contributing to team upskilling initiatives. As part of 3rd-level support, they resolve complex incidents and drive root cause analysis. The role actively contributes to Process Definition and Improvement, enhancing operational efficiency and service reliability. Participation in an on-call rotation ensures continuous support and rapid response to critical production issues.

KEY FEATURES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Responsibilities
- Support and management of Windows Servers (Win 2016, 2019, 2022 and 2025) and supporting services (L2 & L3)
- Lifecycle management of Windows servers based on defined processes and steps
- Installations and configuration of base services and software as needed
- Single Point of Contact for various Application responsible
- Support for Windows/AD/ADFS/software distribution in collaboration with Service Owners
- Process automation and enhancements with PowerShell within CI / CD Pipelines (Jenkins/Bitbucket)
- Documentation and training of operational organizations and customers
- On-call duty
Regulatory Responsibilities &/OR Risk Management
- Demonstration of appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Personal and Social
- Strong communication skills in English
- Good team working skills
Professional and Technical
- Higher education in IT (HF, TS, FH or University)
- Proven knowledge in large Windows Server environments
- Minimum 10 years of enterprise experience in Windows Server engineering, delegation management, scripting (PowerShell), automation, DSC, backup, anti-virus, logging, etc.)
- Strong Active Directory & Virtualization knowledge
- Strong and proven security knowledge within Windows Server landscape
