About BridgeBio

BridgeBio is a biopharmaceutical company founded to discover, create, test, and deliver transformative medicines to treat patients who suffer from genetic diseases and cancers with clear genetic drivers. We bridge the gap between remarkable advancements in genetic science in academic institutions and the delivery of meaningful medicines to patients. Founded in 2015, the company has built a portfolio of 20+ drug development programs ranging from preclinical to late-stage development in multiple therapeutic areas including genetic dermatology, precision oncology, cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, pulmonology, and renal disease, with two approved drugs.

Our focus on scientific excellence and rapid execution aim to translate today’s discoveries into tomorrow’s medicines. We have U.S. offices in San Francisco, Palo Alto, and Raleigh, with small satellites in other parts of the country. We also have international offices in Montreal, Canada, and Zurich, Switzerland, and are expanding across Europe.

Responsibilities

The VP, Regulatory Policy, Engagement & Intelligence will report to the Chief Regulatory Officer and will be responsible for leading BridgeBio’s regulatory policy, agency engagement, and intelligence team. This role requires deep expertise in the regulatory landscape, strong relationships with global health authorities, and the ability to translate complex regulatory dynamics into clear, actionable strategy for the business. The VP will build and lead a team that can advance all three pillars of the function.

Regulatory Policy:
The VP will oversee and drive efforts to monitor and shape the evolving policy landscape across FDA, EMA, and other relevant agencies. This includes tracking proposed rules, guidance developments, and agency initiatives; engaging with industry coalitions and trade associations; and developing BridgeBio’s positions on regulatory policy matters to inform internal strategy and external stakeholder engagement.

Regulatory Engagement (FDA, EMA & Global Health Authorities):
A critical component of the role is to build and leverage relationships with regulatory agencies across the globe. The VP will proactively engage with the FDA, EMA, and other international health authorities, shaping these interactions to advance our key programs, streamline regulatory pathways, and establish BridgeBio as a trusted and credible partner with regulators worldwide.

Regulatory Intelligence & Strategic Translation:
The VP will lead efforts to systematically gather, synthesize, and translate regulatory intelligence into actionable strategy for the business. This includes tracking agency trends, guidance documents, precedent decisions, and emerging policy signals across FDA, EMA, and other global authorities, and distilling these insights into clear, decision-ready recommendations for program teams and senior leadership. Intelligence outputs will inform NDA/BLA strategy, label negotiations, regulatory risk assessments, and portfolio-level planning.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration:
The VP will ensure close working collaboration with internal stakeholders—including clinical, regulatory, medical affairs, legal, and commercial teams,—to ensure awareness of evolving policy, and intelligence initiatives and incorporation into strategy as appropriate.

Team Leadership & Development:
The VP is accountable for building, managing, and developing a high-performing team to drive regulatory policy, engagement, and intelligence. This includes recruiting and retaining top talent, setting clear expectations and priorities, providing active coaching and mentorship, and fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
