Job Overview:
As a Business Development Manager for restaurant acquisition, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our network of restaurant partners. You will be responsible for prospecting, pitching, and closing deals with new restaurants. Your efforts will ensure that these restaurants successfully onboard and go live on our platform, contributing to the growth and diversity of our food delivery service.
Main Responsibilities
Lead Management and Restaurant acquisition
Prospecting, pitching, and closing of new restaurant leads in your assigned territory.
Communicating with restaurants through cold calls, social media engagements, and occasional in-person meetings.
Pitching the value of Deliveroo to prospective partners, and negotiating commercial rates with them, adhering to profitability guardrails of the business
Maintaining accurate records of interactions with leads and prospects in the CRM system.
Ensuring signed restaurants go live by sharing the right information and coordinating with the onboarding team.
Performance Tracking
Reporting to your line manager on the pipeline progress
Meeting and exceeding monthly targets and KPIs
Collaboration
Adhering to our ways of working and representing Deliveroo professionally
Channeling market feedback to the Team Lead and Head of Sales to support with improving our strategy and execution
Commercial Initiatives
Supporting the sales team with ad-hoc projects and initiatives
Qualifications
BSc/BA in business or related field is preferred
Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably within a high growth company
F&B industry experience in the UAE is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Self-starter capable of driving yourself to your targets every month
A fantastic communicator with a "get it done" mindset, well organized and efficient
Resilient and able to handle rejection.
Fluency in English is a must, Arabic/Hindi language skills are a strong advantage
