We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst, Contracts role within the Specter Portfolio and Air & Space Defense Systems. This team focuses on contractual compliance, key pursuits, development efforts, and new business opportunities that serve as the growth engine for the program area ultimately supporting the future growth of Raytheon.

This position offers you a broad opportunity to engage in varied contract activities including the execution of a scheduled Engineering and Manufacturing Development contract in which the hardware being produced must meet the Manufacturing Maturity Assessment requirements of a factory building to ensure readiness for the follow-on Production contract.

What You Will Do

  • Contract compliance

  • Investigate and resolve contractual matters by critically thinking, gathering detailed information, and proactively collaborating with relevant stakeholders

  • Work independently, yet recognize matters that require leadership review and buy-in

  • Influence others through the explanation of facts, policies and practices

  • Multi-task routine and complex contract and proposal activities while responding to unplanned quick response requirements as they emerge

  • Interface with customers regarding correspondence, contractual changes and contractual issues

  • Draft complex letters that communicate Raytheon’s business position effectively

  • Advising management of contractual rights and obligations and possible mitigation of contractual/program risks

  • Work closely with program teams within a matrix environment of program management, engineering, finance, operations, supply chain, and quality functional lead

  • Some periodic domestical travel as required

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field

  • Experience with one or more of the following: Contracts, Subcontracts, or Procurement

  • Active and transferable secret U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain Program Access after to start date

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)

  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships with customers and internal partners based on understanding, teamwork, and trust

  • Experience working is a fast-paced environment, where prioritization is required to be effective

  • Contractual acumen with proficiency in contracts fundamentals

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
