As we scale globally across SaaS subscriptions and hardware offerings, our billing platforms and finance integrations are critical to revenue accuracy, dealer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

We are seeking a Product Manager to support and evolve Alarm.com’s SaaS and hardware billing products and related ERP integrations. This individual contributor role focuses on execution across our homegrown billing systems, supporting ERP evaluation and migration efforts, and improving end to end billing experiences for internal teams and external dealers—under the guidance of senior product, finance, and engineering leadership.

This role partners closely with Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Billing, and Operations in a mission critical domain.

What You’ll Do

  • Support billing workflows for SaaS subscriptions and hardware sales, including invoicing, credits, adjustments, and disputes
  • Gather and document requirements for billing initiatives, including ERP billing evaluation and migration planning
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of billing workflows, edge cases, and operational pain points
  • Partner with Finance and Accounting to support billing accuracy, reconciliation, and revenue integrity
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to align hardware invoicing with shipments, RMAs, and inventory events
  • Assist with ERP billing capability evaluations by documenting gaps, validating workflows, and supporting defined target state decisions
  • Support phased billing migrations while helping minimize operational and revenue risk
  • Partner with Billing Operations and Support to identify product improvements that reduce dealer inquiries
  • Write detailed product requirements and validate complex billing scenarios with Engineering
  • Define and track success metrics such as billing accuracy, cycle time, and support contact reduction
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience

  • 2-4+ years of product, technical product, or business systems experience (product management preferred)
  • Experience working with billing, invoicing, payments, or financial systems
  • Exposure to ERP platforms or integrations (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, or similar)
  • Experience partnering with Finance, Accounting, and Operations stakeholders
  • Background as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Associate PM on financial or operational systems is acceptable
  • Strong attention to detail in business critical domains

Domain Knowledge

  • Working understanding of SaaS and hardware billing concepts (invoicing, credits, adjustments, proration, disputes)
  • Familiarity with system integrations and cross platform data flows
  • Ability and willingness to learn accounting and AR concepts quickly
  • Ability to translate financial workflows into clear product requirements

Ways of Working

  • Hands on, detail oriented, and comfortable learning complex systems
  • Able to operate with mentorship and feedback in ambiguous environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative and effective in cross functional settings
  • Willing to support production issues and billing escalations as part of a team
  • Experience using AI tools to improve productivity is a plus

Nice to Have

  • Experience with dealer, partner, or B2B billing models
  • Exposure to subscription or usage based billing
  • Experience improving operational efficiency or reducing support volume through product changes
  • Experience in hybrid homegrown + ERP billing environments
  • Familiarity with tools such as Power Platform, Jira, Confluence, and Figma
