Pay Rate: £32.58 per hour

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Social Worker for its client's Assessment Team in South Tyneside. As an experienced Social Worker, you will play a key role in conducting assessments, managing complex cases, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children. You’ll benefit from flexible working arrangements, regular supervision, and a collaborative team environment.

What will your responsibilities be?

• Deliver statutory social work services in line with legislation and local authority procedures.
• Undertake assessments and develop care plans that place the child’s voice at the center of decision-making.
• Provide direct intervention to support families in crisis or at risk of breakdown.
• Work closely with families, carers, and partner agencies to implement effective support plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely case records and reports.
• Participate in supervision and reflective practice sessions.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have, 

• Social Work England registration.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving license.
• Degree in Social Work (or equivalent).
• Post-qualified experience in children’s services.
