Responsibilities will include processing purchase orders from MRP, negotiating with suppliers, tracking orders, and liaising with inventory teams and management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Research, select and purchase quality products and materials.

• Build relationships with suppliers and build alignment with them for the most sustainable and competitive pricing.

• Process requisitions and update management on status of orders.

• Arrange transport of goods and track orders to support the achievement of timely delivery.

• Coordinate with the inventory team, management, and stockroom as required.

• Assess quality of stock received and resolve any discrepancies through collaboration with suppliers and management.

• Manage and facilitate outside processing.

• Evaluate and address NCRs on time.

• Coordinate with accounting for supplier payments / resolutions etc.

Required Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required

• Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non-visa sponsorship.

• Bachelor's Degree is preferred

• 3-5 years of relevant experience is required

• Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint).

• SAP

• Critical thinking and negotiation skills.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Knowledge of sales and marketing principles is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ​Prior Industrial gas experience

The annual base salary range for this position in California is $95,000 - $105,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Air Liquide considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
