MTS - Data Analysis and Reporting

Join MTS in Rome as a Data Analyst and Reporting specialist, starting in June. In this full-time role, you will play a key part in supporting Monitoring, Post-trading and Membership activities by managing and developing automatic and semi-automatic procedures, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of market operations.

You will primarily be responsible for:
• Monitoring Market Making activities, including updating lists of Stocks and Market Operators for timely performance calculations
• Writing technical documentation for internal and external use
• Maintaining web front-end pages for clients and internal management, enabling consultation and printing of performance indicators
• Analysing market data and generating periodic reports for Management, Sales and Customers
• Setting up and maintaining Provider’s Market Control and Market Abuse software, including installation in production, test and maintenance environments
• Managing network devices such as PCs, laptops, tablets and smartphones, including WIFI access
• Defining, controlling and updating lists of reference securities (Benchmarks) for market indicators
• Periodically checking Market Participants against global lists of individuals or companies suspected of terrorism, in line with Legislative Decree 109/2007
• Collaborating with development teams and product managers to implement software solutions
• Supporting new users with ENX PCs, laptops and printers on the network
• Executing semi-automatic procedures and deploying software upgrades
• Providing support to internal IT and users on network and office tools
• Conducting data checks and analysis using office tools and external data providers

Your profile
• 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within financial markets or market infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, PowerBI)
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office VBA and .NET programming (Visual Studio)
• Experience with LAN, WAN and WIFI networks
• Familiarity with Windows Server OS, Windows 11 client OS and SQL/SQL Server
• Understanding of web server OS, JavaScript, PHP and FTP/SFTP server management
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to write clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Team-oriented, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Good command of English and Italian
