Job Description

In this role, you will:

Manage and develop complex teams handling multifaceted tasks and operations for a single business group within a line of business

Engage business stakeholders in integrating or implementing business execution initiatives

Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement, redesign, change management initiatives, and risk control development

Make decisions and resolve issues regarding operations of the team to meet business objectives

Interpret and develop policies and procedures aligned with Wells Fargo's business line objectives

Collaborate and consult with immediate colleagues and cross functional business partners

Interact directly with executive management to influence, optimize, and negotiate on business operations related to Strategy and Execution

Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution

Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 2+ years Leadership experience

About the Role:

The CIB Business Execution Manager is a critical role within Business Support Services. Wells Fargo Corporate & Investment Banking delivers a comprehensive suite of capital markets, banking, and financial products and services. A trusted partner to our clients, we provide corporate and transactional banking, commercial real estate lending and servicing, investment banking, equity and fixed income solutions including sales, trading, and research capabilities to corporate, commercial real estate, government, and institutional clients across the globe. In addition to adding value to business groups through a suite of services, this role covers jobs that have a broad focus within the Marketing job family that includes developing integrated marketing strategies to execute across all channels including digital.

As the Lead of Information Research and Presentation Design Services team within Business Support Services, you will be responsible for two broad spectrums, information research and presentation designing.

Research Consultants will utilize a variety of online resources to help fulfill the daily volume of requests for research. Work closely with bankers, sales and trading counterparts on complex research requests including industry & market research, M&A data analytics, real estate research, topical research/studies, comprehensive research projects, vendor comparisons & assessments, and global research.

Presentation Design Services involve designing variety of complex pitches, presentations, and documents. Leverages template to ensure content is brand compliant and free from spelling and grammar errors. Sets up projects for PDF or print.  Develops the more complex charts, graphs, tables, and moderate maps according to brand standards, while offering a consultative approach and multiple solutions for the clients.  Provides customer service including responding to questions, explaining capabilities and options.

Provides training to team members in various Microsoft Office applications. Provide project management for special events.  May be responsible for updating templates, color palettes, or instructions for project types or procedures.

  • Maintain strong governance, issue tracking, and escalation mechanisms

Compliance & Control Mindset

  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices

  • Embed risk‑aware decision‑making across service and process design

  • Act as a role model for operational integrity and control discipline

Stakeholder & Cross‑Functional Management

  • Serve as a primary liaison between business units, risk, compliance, audit, and technology teams

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate progress, risks, and outcomes effectively

  • Influence decision‑making without direct authority across matrixed environments

Essential Qualifications

  • 12-14 years’ experience in leading teams with expertise in research and/or presentation design

  • Advanced level experience in the following Applications:

  • Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat Pro

  • Deep understanding of Financial Services industry, products and services

  • Strong stakeholder skills and ability influence outcomes

  • Strong communication skills and experience in navigating through matrix organizations

  • People Management skills in leading teams and working on building careers

Desired Qualifications

BA/BS in Graphic Design, English, or Communications
