Join our Pipeline Maintenance team and play a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable operation of our infrastructure. In this hands-on position, you will support a wide range of maintenance, repair, and emergency response activities while working with specialized tools and equipment in a safety-focused environment. We are looking for motivated individuals who are committed to continuous learning, operational excellence, teamwork, and who take pride in maintaining high standards in both fieldwork and administrative responsibilities.

What You Will Do:

  • Safely operate company vehicles, maintain accurate driver logs, and ensure compliance with all safety standards.

  • Perform pipeline maintenance, repairs, and emergency response activities, including stopple operations and spill containment.

  • Inspect, operate, and maintain specialized pipeline tools and equipment, including pigging and inline inspection tools.

  • Complete required training and maintain Operator Qualification (OQ); supervise non-qualified personnel when required.

  • Manage documentation and administrative tasks, including work orders (Maximo), timesheets, and expense reports.

  • Support operations through permit issuance, contractor inspection, cross-functional assistance, and on-call participation.

Who You Are:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 1–2 years of experience in operations or maintenance within a crude oil pipeline, tank farm, or delivery facility.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

  • Must live within one hour of the reporting location, unless an exception is granted by management.

  • Ability to pass fit testing and wear SCBA, full‑face, and half‑mask air‑purifying respirators.

Preferred:

  • Additional experience in crude oil pipeline, tank farm, or facility operations or maintenance.

  • Construction background.

  • Experience operating equipment such as aerial lifts, skid steers, and front‑end loaders.

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

  • Experience towing trailers.

Working Conditions:

  • Combination of field and office work environments with regular travel and overnight stays.

  • Frequent travel to construction and maintenance sites.

  • Overtime and schedule flexibility required to support multiple projects, emergency response efforts, adverse weather conditions, and out‑of‑town work.

  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and changing work directions.

  • Position requires quick decision‑making under stressful and time‑sensitive conditions.

  • Works independently with minimal day‑to‑day supervision.

  • Time commitments may extend beyond normal working hours.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to: 

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 50 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
