Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer – Site Supervision to join our team in Riyadh for a prestigious mixed-use development project. The candidate will play a critical role in overseeing electrical works on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and local KSA regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in large-scale mixed-use developments (residential, commercial, hospitality) within the GCC region.

Your role

Conduct site inspections to ensure electrical installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
Monitor and enforce contractor compliance with project specifications, shop drawings, and relevant codes.
Review and provide technical feedback on:
Material submittals
Method statements
Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
Shop and as-built drawings
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, civil, architectural) to ensure seamless integration of services.
Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
Witness and validate testing & commissioning activities for major electrical systems.
Ensure adherence to KSA codes and standards (SEC regulations, SBC, IEC standards).
Identify and resolve site issues proactively, providing technical solutions where required.
Prepare and maintain:
Daily inspection reports
NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)
Weekly and monthly progress reports
Support project management team in ensuring quality, safety, and timeline compliance.

About you

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
8–12 years of experience in electrical engineering with a strong focus on site supervision for building projects.
Proven experience working on mixed-use developments (commercial, residential, hospitality).
Prior experience in KSA or GCC projects is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of:
Saudi Building Code (SBC)
SEC (Saudi Electricity Company) standards
International standards (IEC, BS)
Familiarity with testing & commissioning procedures for electrical systems.
Proficiency in relevant engineering software and MS Office tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.
