Job Summary

The Sr. Analyst, Offer Strategy and Campaign Analytics will play an active role to deliver product mix and margin targets for TXU Energy brand. As part of the broader pricing and margin management team, the Sr. Analyst has responsibility for delivering optimized margin outcomes in accordance with customer growth and financial goals, analyzing campaign performance and providing actionable insights, leading improvements to business processes and facilitating the creation of appropriate reporting.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct economic, financial, competitive, and pricing analysis
  • Assist in evaluating residential offer strategy by performing detailed analysis on channel performance, pricing, and sales mix
  • Lead enhancement of go-to market planning models that help execute / launch campaigns; must be comfortable dealing with large quantities of data in Excel, Tableau, SQL, Snowflake, and /or Python
  • Proactively monitor and manage the margins of new and existing customers while supporting company efforts to minimize customer losses
  • Conduct ad hoc reporting and analysis to drive critical time sensitive business decisions
  • Proactively analyze markets and identify market segments where the company's position could be improved
  • Conduct variance analysis on sales mix and margin performance at the channel and program level; assist in presenting results, key observations, implications, and recommendations to mid and senior management
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing channels to identify performance improvement opportunities and design effective tools and tactics to improve performance
  • Support monthly and annual planning / forecasting process
  • Leverage project management practices to drive on‑time, defect‑free execution of pricing and offers across channels and programs
  • Actively participate in cross-functional teams, providing analysis expertise, offering original perspectives, and challenging the conventional view to better align decision making with changing market environments

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of work experience (or Master’s with 2+ years) in quantitative business function which includes financial, data, or business analytics or related field
  • Must have advanced experience in data modeling (Excel), with proficiency in SQL programming and statistical software, such as Snowflake, Python and data visualization tools (Tableau)
  • Experience leveraging AI‑enabled analytics and automation tools to enhance offer strategy, campaign analysis, and decision support is a strong plus
  • Knowledge and experience with customer facing and project coordination/management methods preferred
  • Preference given to experience that includes portfolio performance management, go-to market strategies, pricing strategies and tactics, and/or a holistic view of cross functional roles and dependencies
  • Exhibit a high level of morale and open communication, promoting transparency across the organization regarding offer strategy decisions
