Insulation Apprentice

 

Job Summary

We’re looking for a dependable, hard-working Insulation Apprentice to join our team. In this role, you’ll assist with installing insulation on residential HVAC systems and structures to improve energy efficiency and overall performance. This is a great opportunity to learn a skilled trade and grow within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with installation of insulation on ductwork, piping, and equipment
• Measure, cut, and fit insulation materials (fiberglass, foam, etc.)
• Seal surfaces using tape, caulking, and adhesives to prevent air leaks
• Install vapor barriers and protective coverings as needed
• Load and stock trucks with materials, tools, and equipment
• Safely operate hand and power tools
• Maintain clean, organized job sites
• Follow all safety guidelines and company standards

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Experience in construction, insulation, or a related trade is a plus (not required)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to follow instructions and work in confined spaces or at heights
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and team mindset
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Work Environment: 

Works in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust.
