Highlights:
Summary: The Radiologic Technologist shall be responsible to perform a variety of technical tasks that are involved in operating diagnostic imaging equipment. This individual will be responsible to make radiographs of designated portions of the body as specified by the Physician; adjust equipment for proper exposure, voltage, and current in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures. The Technologist will determine, prepare, and set up medical supplies, instruments and equiment, and position patients for each anatomical view specified using immobilization and protective devices as required. The Technologist will assist Physician with fluoroscopic examinications and special radiographic studies. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role. Education / Experience: Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology required. Active primary Radiography registry through the ARRT(R ) or NMTCB and actively working to achieve the primary ARRT(R ) (CT) or NMTCB (CT) registry status within twelve months of hire or required completion of three month training course and clinical hours provided by Baptist Health.
