Amwins Access – Admitted Placement Services (APS) is hiring a Production Underwriter to help build and grow a commercial admitted book of business. This is a sales-focused, production-oriented role for someone who enjoys developing agency relationships, driving new business, and owning results—with the support, tools, and market access of an industry leader.

What You’ll Do

Proactively build a new book of business by identifying, marketing to, and onboarding new agency partners and accounts.
- Work closely with carrier partners and retail agents to quote, bind, retain, and resolve risks.
- Create and execute agency sales and marketing plans to drive new business and renewal retention.
- Sell and distribute Amwins Admitted products, including in-person agency visits and strategic business development activities.
- Develop long-term agency relationships and analyze book performance to prioritize high-potential opportunities.
- Partner with internal teams to support cross-sell and expansion opportunities across the Amwins network.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of commercial account management experience in a retail agency or wholesaler environment (preferred)
- Experience with commercial admitted carrier products and rating platforms
- Active P&C license
- Insurance designations are a plus
