About the role
Job Description:
The Assembler is responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components and wiring assemblies, as well as supporting production related tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform hand soldering of electronic components, wires, and circuit boards
- Assemble small parts and subassemblies using hand tools and fixtures
- Follow work instructions, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Work with Quality Inspectors to ensure quality and compliance
- Identify and rework defective solder joints or assemblies
- Pick parts and subassembly kits as needed
- Record production data and track completed work
- Assist with packaging in Data Center repack as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Meet daily production targets
Minimum Required Skills and Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous soldering/assembly experience
- Ability to read schematics and follow assembly instructions
- Must be able to effectively read, write and communicate in English
- Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time during shift
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
- Ability to work with small components
- Exposure to soldering fumes with ventilation system
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.
Compensation Information:
$22 per hour
