About this role:
The Business Solutions and Enablement (BSE) team is part of the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Line of Business and is responsible for leading business change initiatives that may span the US, EMEA, and APAC regions. Portfolio and Change Excellence (PACE) – Intake, Planning and Benefits is a key component of BSE, responsible for leading and executing high-priority change intake, financial planning, benefits tracking, and governance and control activities across the function.
This is a lead role reporting directly to the WFIP – BSE Lead, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the PACE – Intake, Planning and Benefits Lead. The role partners closely with the PACE Lead to provide oversight of change initiative, sub-initiative, and program resourcing, demand management, and ongoing forecasting and planning processes. Play a key role in managing the end‑to‑end financial forecasting lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and governance across LOB expenses through structured reconciliation, stakeholder collaboration, and timely reporting. In addition, the role provides portfolio management support across the BSE portfolio, including guidance on governance and control activities as needed.
Based in India, this role will work closely with BSE colleagues in India and collaborate extensively with teams across the US, EMEA, and APAC regions to support the successful delivery of the BSE portfolio.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives managing all activities in a project life-cycle such as initiation, planning, executing, controlling, and closing associated with projects that are long-term and cross functional with broad impact, scope and complexity
- Act as key participant in large-scale project planning and budgets for change management
- Review, analyze and initiate complex multi-faceted enterprise support operations, organizational systems knowledge and navigation to anticipate change impacts that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors
- Ensure full understanding of project impacts that translate into comprehensive engagement strategies
- Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations, demonstrating ownership of the entire process from beginning to end while developing and implementing program and project level processes, procedures and performance metrics
- Demonstrate understanding of policy, methodology and artifact creation that influence and lead change management to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Strategically collaborate and consult with stakeholders, project leads, mid-level to senior managers sponsors and business partners to clarify and define project requirements and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Project Management and Methodologies, Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience across a range of change initiatives, including regulatory, compliance, operational risk, people and process, and business enablement activities. Experience leading regulatory change impacting investment banking and governance within an international investment bank is preferred.
- Strong experience operating within governance and control frameworks for highly complex and high-risk change initiatives, using formal project management methodologies such as PMI, MSP, or PRINCE2.
- Proven experience managing change initiative, sub-initiative, and program resourcing in complex organizational environments.
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels across businesses and functions to deliver against defined objectives.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional and cross-disciplinary teams through both direct management and influence.
- Ability to operate effectively both as a collaborative team member and as an independent individual contributor.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and workstreams concurrently while prioritizing effectively to deliver on time.
- Strong analytical capability, including advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging and delivery style to different audiences.
Job Expectations:
- Provide oversight of the resource planning process for BSE change initiatives, sub-initiatives, and programs, working closely with the PACE – Intake, Planning and Benefits Lead and Change Initiative Managers to ensure resource requirements are accurately captured and maintained.
- Collaborate with Finance, FP&A, change initiative managers, and other stakeholders to review forecasts, validate expense details, and drive alignment through structured review meetings.
- Lead reconciliation of actuals vs. forecast, investigate variances, and maintain an accurate, up to date Live Forecast file incorporating all adjustments and inputs.
- Identify, document, and monitor financial risks and opportunities, while continuously tracking budget changes and ensuring follow-ups are addressed.
- Prepare and submit final forecast outputs, develop executive-level reporting (monthly decks), and support governance forums to enable leadership decision-making.
- Develop and maintain management information to support analysis, reporting, and decision-making for change initiative, sub-initiative, and program delivery.
- Document and maintain processes used to manage change initiative, sub-initiative, and program resourcing to ensure consistency, transparency, and operational effectiveness.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to strengthen resource management practices across the team.
- Play a lead role in the annual investment planning process in close partnership with BSE portfolio leads.
- Enable and upskill the BSE team to become increasingly self-sufficient in resource management practices and processes.
- Provide management and oversight of agreed portfolio management activities across the shared services team, in alignment with direction from the WFIP BSE Lead.
- Demonstrate and promote the skills and behaviors required to succeed within the BSE organization.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required, including deputizing for peers and assuming delegated responsibilities from the PACE – Intake, Planning and Benefits Lead when needed.
- Identify, manage, and escalate issues that may adversely affect the BSE platform or process, customers, delivery, resources, or supporting systems.
- Oversee the quality of team data maintained in systems of record, ensuring it meets departmental standards and tolerance thresholds.
- Create and deliver presentations for executives and senior leaders on change initiative outputs, plans, progress, and related portfolio matters.
