This role is client-centric and strategic-focused on building enduring relationships, navigating complex financial landscapes, and helping clients achieve long-term financial well-being through investments and protection solutions.
The investment counsellor will work closely with Financial Representatives to deliver seamless, tailored investment advice that addresses both immediate financial goals and future aspirations including intergenerational wealth transfer, wealth accumulation and legacy planning.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management:

Cultivate deep, long-term relationships with affluent and high-net-worth individuals. Provide relevant investment insights by understanding life goals, financial needs, and generational aspirations.

Drive HNW business drivers

Responsible for the experience and speed of inception of ILP & IUL cases and driving HNW related sales targets.

Actively engage the agency channel to develop new customer segments such as offshore for them to reach the HNW segment goals


Collaboration & Specialist Coordination:

Partner with external Value Added Service partners (legal, trust, family office) and internal specialists such as tax adviser to deliver integrated, end-to-end financial solutions for HNW clients.

Market Insights & Advisory:

Stay current with market trends, investment opportunities, and regulatory changes. Translate insights into actionable advice that supports clients’ wealth goals.

Events & Education:

Organize exclusive events for FRs to enhance engagement and deliver valuable market perspectives.

Governance, Risk & Compliance:

Ensure full compliance with KYC/AML, regulatory, and internal policies. Exhibit sound judgment in managing ethical standards and risk controls while safeguarding PACS and client interests.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, highly developed interpersonal skills – individual, group, written. Fluency in Business Mandarin will be preferred.

Working Experience

Must have prior 8-10 years of work experience as a relationship manager/investment counsellor/bancassurance specialist in established banks or ther financial services institutions such as brokers.

Professional Qualifications

Must have relevant CMFAS papers certification- M8, M8A, RES5, M9, M9A

Must have a good grasp of index linked universal life, investment linked plans and unit trusts solutions.
