Job Description

Basic Purpose

Position interprets for different school functions, conferences, meetings, assemblies, IEP meetings, medical meetings with nursing staff, parent homes and sorority when requested and psychological testing when requested. Assist in special programs and activities when interpreting is necessary. Attend in-service training as scheduled and interpret workshops as required to keep certification current.

State certification through DRS/QAST (Quality Assurance Screening Test). National certification through the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf.

    Position is located at Oklahoma School for the Deaf in Sulphur.

    Preferred Qualifications:  American Sign Language Skills.
