About the role
At Joko, we help consumers shop smarter. Our mission is to revolutionize shopping, empowering people to find what they need, make informed decisions, and save money.
Founded in Paris, Joko is a tech company and certified B Corp with over 105 talents across Paris, Barcelona, and New York (and beyond). More than 6 million users already save money every day at 10,000+ merchants with Joko.
From cashback and automatic coupons to price alerts and carbon tracking, we keep expanding our products to make shopping smarter. We’re now building an AI-powered shopping assistant to help users find the best products by price, quality, and environmental impact.
Having reached profitability in our core market, we’re now scaling globally, with a strong focus on the US.
It’s still day 1, come build the future of shopping with us!
️ Our Product team – Platform
Led by Fabien, our VP Product, Joko’s Product team brings together the people behind our users’ delight. From discovery to delivery and launch, we turn ideas into reality by working hand-in-hand with Engineering, Design, and Business teams.
Within this team, the Platform tribe is the backbone of Joko’s scalability. It designs and builds the internal platforms, tools, and technical foundations that allow the company to operate with speed, reliability, and confidence, both today and as we scale internationally.
This team owns critical domains such as internal products, back-office platforms, infrastructure, security, compliance, and operational reliability. By investing in strong, scalable foundations, the Platform team enables all other teams to execute at a high level and supports Joko’s long-term growth.
The Platform tribe is currently being built. This role offers a rare opportunity to shape a team, its scope, and its impact from a (nearly) blank sheet, in close collaboration with senior engineering leadership.
What you will do
As a Product Manager in the Platform tribe, you will own end-to-end product responsibility for Joko’s internal platforms and technical foundations.
Platform vision & roadmap: Define the product vision and roadmap for internal platforms (back-office, infrastructure, security, compliance, reliability), aligned with company priorities and technical constraints.
Internal platforms ownership: Own the full lifecycle of internal products and tools (e.g. Joko Admin, internal tooling, integrations), from problem framing to delivery and adoption by internal teams.
Collaboration with senior engineers: Work closely with highly experienced senior engineers — including profiles with founder-level experience such as Pierre Nectoux — to co-build scalable and reliable platform foundations.
Stakeholder alignment & prioritization: Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders (Engineering, Ops, Finance, Legal, Data, Customer Care), structure demand, and arbitrate priorities.
Scalability, reliability & risk management: Drive initiatives around performance, infrastructure costs, security, fraud, and compliance (GDPR) to ensure Joko can scale without breaking.
Impact & operational efficiency: Define success metrics focused on efficiency, reliability, risk reduction, and time saved for internal teams.
Who we’re looking for
Experience: At least 2+ years of experience as a Product Manager. Background on internal tools, back-office products, APIs, platforms, or complex B2B products is a strong plus.
Product for teams mindset: Comfortable building products where users are internal teams, with less emphasis on UI polish and more on efficiency, robustness, and adoption.
Strong technical appetite: Curious and hands-on with technical topics such as infrastructure, performance, server costs, reliability, security, compliance, or fraud. You don’t need to code, but you need to understand how things work.
Stakeholder leadership: Excellent at alignment, prioritization, and saying no. Able to navigate many dependencies and make trade-offs explicit.
Analytical & pragmatic: Data-driven, impact-oriented, and focused on solving real operational problems.
Communication: Clear, structured communicator, able to translate complex technical topics into business impact.
Location & languages: Based in France or Spain. Fluent in English (French is a plus, not mandatory).
Mindset: Ownership-driven, resilient, and motivated by solving hard, unglamorous but high-impact problems that make the whole company better.
