What You’ll Be Doing…
As a Network Automation engineer, your primary focus is the technical development and deployment of automation solutions. You will take identified manual workflows and build the code, scripts, and logic required to automate network operations at scale.
- Develop Automation Solutions: Write, test, and deploy production-ready code to automate network configurations, swivel-chairing, troubleshooting, and alarm responses.
- Engineer End-to-End Workflows: Build and integrate automated logic across multiple systems, ensuring that data flows seamlessly from detection to resolution without manual intervention.
- Optimize Existing Scripts: Review and refactor current automation code to improve performance, reliability, and security within the network infrastructure.
- Lead Technical Synchronization: Act as a senior technical resource for the US-based team, ensuring that all automation deployments align with global architecture and operational standards.
What We’re Looking For…
You are a technical problem-solver who enjoys the hands-on work of coding and systems integration. You have a deep understanding of network logic and the ability to build robust, scalable automation that reduces the need for human intervention.
You’ll Need to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree and three or more years of professional work experience in engineering or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in scripting and database management to develop integrated technical solutions.
- Proven experience building and deploying automated workflows that interact with large-scale network infrastructures.
- Technical expertise in integrating with API-driven systems and notification platforms
- Willingness to work a schedule that includes overlap with US Day shift.
Even Better If You Have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with network provisioning processes and workflows.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and Jira to manage the full development lifecycle, from user story refinement to the delivery of automated solutions.
- Experience with large-scale IT systems and infrastructure.
- The ability to troubleshoot complex automation failures and provide root-cause analysis.
