Responsibilities:

  • Execute and support site‑level Quality & HSE systems, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and customer requirements in a small manufacturing environment.
  • Manage and analyze customer warranty returns and claims, partnering with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to identify root causes and support corrective actions.
  • Track and report site Quality and CI performance metrics, supporting KPI reviews, trend analysis, and improvement action tracking.
  • Support continuous improvement activities by applying basic Lean and problem‑solving tools to improve quality, safety, delivery, and process stability.
  • Lead customer complaint resolution, including root cause analysis, documentation, and follow‑up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support internal, external, and customer audits, including preparation of documentation, participation during audits, and tracking of action items.
  • Provide hands‑on quality and continuous improvement support on the shop floor, spending regular time in production areas to observe processes and drive practical improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Continuous Improvement, or Lean roles within a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001; exposure to ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 is a plus but not required.
  • Practical experience with Lean tools such as Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping, and standard work.
  • Hands‑on problem‑solving experience using quality tools such as 8D, basic SPC, FMEA, or root cause analysis methods.
  • Ability to analyze and present data using Excel and/or basic reporting tools; experience with Power BI or Minitab is a plus.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across Quality, Operations, Engineering, and Sales in a small‑site, team‑oriented environment.
