About the Team
The Merchandising Operations team is spread across Onboarding and Maintenance, Operational Services and Vendor Performance and Data Governance. Our Mission is to deliver a modernized Omni merchant and vendor experience with a focus on speed and quality of service, enriched merchandising experience and sustainable operations. Across the team we focus on 100% accuracy while onboarding new suppliers & maintaining their profiles as well as setting up items and maintaining them. Product Experience is key as we maintain Item Health, Content, Data Quality and launch readiness through PLR. Effort is on Merchandising Enablement in the form of MS simplification, vendor funding, speed to market and data governance &enablement.
Job Summary:

The team main role is to support end to end item, vendor, merchant, and taxonomy operations by ensuring high quality, accurate, and compliant product data across all digital and omni channel platforms. The roles in multiple Merch Ops teams drives item data quality and item health through proactive monitoring of sellable status, inventory, availability, cost/retail, and PO issues, while managing item setup, lifecycle activities, and enterprise clean ups to ensure accurate representation on Lowes.com. Partnering closely with Merchants, Taxonomy, and LPD teams, the Associate Analyst maintains strong data governance standards, improves product structure, and establishes business rules to ensure long term data integrity. The role also supports vendor onboarding and ongoing vendor operations by managing vendor master data, inquiries, ticket resolution, buybacks/RTVs, and performance metrics, while executing merchant facing initiatives such as promotions, brand launches, and strategic events. Through continuous monitoring of data quality metrics and issue trends, the Associate Analyst drives root cause resolution and process improvements to enhance both customer experience.
