Section Manager Maintenance

Location: Mansfield, OH

Cleveland-Cliffs, Mansfield Works has an immediate opening for a Section Manager Maintenance. The Maintenance Section Manager will be responsible for supervisory control over the Shift Managers and their crews, and maintaining and reporting all mechanical and electrical equipment.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Maintains supervisory control over work activities of the Shift Managers and crews with respect to safety, quality and production

• Administer department safety program, conduct meetings, observations and inspections and develops and reviews procedures

• Prepare and oversee the preventive and predictive maintenance plans; schedule maintenance outages

• Responsible for department labor issues and processing grievances

• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

• 5-7 years supervisory skills

• Ability to make critical adjustments in emergency situations

• Ability to lead and motivate employees

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of melting and casting steel or other metals

• Experience in a steelmaking facility

• Experience in a union environment
