This role goes beyond traditional executive support. While the Chief of Staff will own core Executive Assistant responsibilities such as calendaring, travel coordination, and meeting logistics; they will also act as a trusted thought partner to the CEO, supporting strategic initiatives, cross-functional communication, and operational follow-through. This is an ideal role for someone who sees themselves as a future business unit leader looking for a front-row seat to how a CEO runs the business.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support
• Manage the CEO’s complex calendar, including prioritization of meetings, preparation, and proactive scheduling.
• Coordinate domestic and international travel, including itineraries, accommodations, and expense management.
• Organize and support executive meetings, board-related activities, and key internal and external engagements.
• Serve as a gatekeeper for the CEO, ensuring efficient use of time and thoughtful communication flow.
Chief of Staff & Strategic Support
• Partner closely with the CEO to drive execution on key priorities, initiatives, and follow-ups.
• Prepare briefing materials, presentations, agendas, and meeting summaries.
• Track action items and ensure alignment and accountability across senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Act as a liaison between the CEO and internal stakeholders, helping translate vision into action.
• Support special projects, research, and ad hoc analyses as needed.
Communication & Coordination
• Draft, review, and manage communications on behalf of the CEO.
• Coordinate with the Executive Leadership Team, Board members, and external partners.
• Maintain a high level of discretion and professionalism with confidential information.
What We’re Looking For
Required Skills & Experience
• 2–6 years of experience in a Chief of Staff, or high-impact administrative role.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
• Experience managing executive calendars, travel, and meetings with precision and attention to detail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of discretion, judgment, and emotional intelligence.
