Job Description

Your Role 

Objective: Carry out test procedures, and execute test programs in accordance to guidelines.

Responsibilities 

  • Develop and define test procedures at all stages of quality assurance processes complying with overarching guidelines;

  • Improve laboratory standards and optimize the methodical approach to testing.

  • Contribute to implementing new testing, mixing procedures.

  • Employ a variety of methods, chemical testing equipment and processes appropriate for particular test.

  • Interpret test results and provide applicable guidance to relevant operations management.

  • Act as go-to-person for methodical troubleshooting and testing excellence.

  • Assistance and back up to QA/QC manager.

Your Profile 

Experience/ Education

  • B.S. degree in any of the sciences/chemistry and/or >5 years’ experience in quality control operations of manufactured production oilfield chemicals or similar

  • Able to work with manufacturing, operations, lab personnel and commercial personnel in providing timely and accurate product property data.

  • Familiarity and experience in the operation of typical lab instrumentation as well as wet chemistry methodology

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office platforms
